Yes. We had a few today.

Nothing major.

A couple of times we took a wrong exit but quickly got back on track. At some gas stations Richard’s charge card wouldn’t work while at others it did. Bizarre. Hopefully the bank got it sorted. 🤞🏼

Weather wise it was a fabulous day for driving. Clear. Sunny. Thankful for that.

Traffic wise. There was substantial. Made it tiring for the driver. Thank goodness I am not the driver.

Tonight we’re at the Quality Inn located in Chambersburg, PA.

Lovely large room. And after a long, tiring day did I ever want a bath. Nope. Sadly only a shower. 😢 Not complaining (well not much).

Went to a local restaurant for supper. We’d never have known about it if the front desk manager hadn’t mentioned it.

What a find. Great food. You always know you’ll enjoy your meal when you see locals eating there. Great service. Our waitress was super friendly. At one time we counted eleven employees at the front. And not just hanging around chatting. Great prices. Our order included a small salad, roast turkey club sandwich (real turkey), a large salad with chicken, and a coffee. All for under $30. Paid at the counter and it was the first time in a long while that I was given a paper receipt for me to write down the tip. And yes I gave our waitress a large tip.

Two more days and then we relax.
