Wow.

All the months of research, planning, arranging, and just a little bit of worrying have finally brought us to today. Up at 4:30 am and the car and roads are covered with ice. So much for the best laid plans etc. the plan was to be on the road by 5:00. But we left at. 6:19. Better safe than sorry. And we’re off. Out the driveway and across The Confederation Bridge (after paying the $47.75 toll). The above pictures are of The Confederation Bridge which connects PEI to NB. https://www.confederationbridge.com/

Hopefully we get to the US border at Houlton, Maine around 10:00 am. I’ll update everyone as the day goes along.

With retirement comes the opportunity for new experiences. Debi has a passion for music, singing, theatre, and travel. With her BMEd and MEd she had an extensive career which included elementary music education, performing, vocal instruction, choral conducting, musical theatre directing, and clinician work.
